About Us
Poker Sites exists to help people who already know how to play poker find a real-money app or site worth their time. We're not here to teach you the rules of No Limit Hold'em or explain what a Sit & Go is — our readers already know that. What they usually don't know, and what we try to answer clearly, is which operators are worth trusting, which have soft games and decent traffic, and which welcome offers actually come with fair terms attached.
What we actually do
We compare regulated and offshore-facing online poker apps available to US players against the things that matter once you sit down at a table: player traffic and liquidity, the mix of cash games, MTTs, Sit & Gos and fast-fold formats, rake structures and rakeback value, mobile app quality, deposit and withdrawal methods, and how easy it is to get support if something goes wrong. We then rank them and write up the ones we think are worth reading about in detail.
Because poker liquidity and licensing vary enormously by state and by operator model, we try to be specific about what each site is and isn't, rather than treating every "top poker site" list as interchangeable.
How we score and rank sites
Our editorial ratings are built from research into publicly available information: stated licensing, published rake and bonus terms, the range of formats and stakes on offer, supported payment methods and withdrawal timelines, and the quality of the mobile client where information is available. We do not accept payment in exchange for a higher position, and commission from any operator never decides where it sits in a ranking. Where we can't verify a claim — a specific traffic number, a licensing detail, a payout time — we say so rather than guessing.
Ratings are our own editorial judgment, not customer review scores, and they reflect research rather than firsthand play, deposits or withdrawals.
How we make money
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you sign up through them, glowingblush.com may earn a commission from the operator at no extra cost to you. This is how the site stays free to use. It does not influence which sites we cover, how we score them, or the order they appear in — our commercial relationships are disclosed here and never buried.
Where a welcome offer or deposit match is mentioned on this site, we try to note the material conditions next to it — things like minimum deposit, wagering or playthrough requirements, and any time limits — because a bonus is only as good as the terms attached to it.
Why we cover a mixed bag of operators
Online poker in the US is regulated state by state, and there's no single federal framework covering every player. That's part of why the sites we review range from state-licensed rooms to offshore-facing platforms that accept US players, including some built around crypto payments. We try to be upfront about the difference: state-regulated sites carry consumer protections tied to a specific state licence, while offshore sites operate under licences from jurisdictions such as Curaçao and don't offer the same recourse if a dispute arises. Readers should check what applies in their own state before signing up anywhere.
Age, eligibility and responsible play
Everything on this site is intended for adults of legal gambling age only. Most US states set the minimum age for online poker at 21, though a small number allow 18; you must confirm and meet the legal age and residency requirements that apply in your own state before creating an account anywhere. Poker involves real financial risk, skill does not remove that risk, and no site or strategy guarantees winning outcomes. We don't present real-money poker as a source of income, and nothing on this site should be read as encouragement to spend more than you can comfortably afford to lose.
If gambling stops being fun or starts to feel like a problem, free and confidential help is available around the clock through 1-800-GAMBLER. For more on setting limits, self-exclusion and where to find support, see our Responsible Gambling page.
Questions, corrections or feedback
We fact-check operator details on a rolling basis, but terms, bonuses and licensing can change faster than any page can be updated. If you spot something out of date, or you've had an experience with a site we cover that doesn't match what we've written, we want to hear about it. You can reach us through our Contact Us page. Full terms covering use of this site are set out in our Terms and Conditions.
